Heather F. Koltusky
She practices in the following areas:
- Corporate and Business
Heather is one of our Associates who practices business and corporate law. She has a focus in incorporations, business succession planning, corporate reorganizations, drafting and reviewing commercial, farm and residential leases. She also can assist clients with preparing unanimous shareholder agreements and buying and selling businesses.
She grew up on an acreage south of Strathmore, Alberta, and currently lives with her husband and their golden retriever in Carstairs. Having grown up working for her parents’ business, Heather has an appreciation of the challenges of being your own boss and starting your own company. This personal background has been supplemented by eight years of post-secondary training. In addition to receiving her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Alberta in 2015, she has also completed a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science from the University of Calgary in 2012.
This combination of education and experience allows Heather to understand our clients’ legal goals or problems in their wider business context. It has also given her a desire to provide quality, resolution-focused legal services at fixed and affordable prices. Heather also believes that lawyers should be educators and wants her clients to leave our office with all their questions answered, a clear grasp of the options available to them and an understanding of what the path to the end of their file looks like.
Heather works primarily out of the Olds office, but is available to meet clients in any of our four offices.
