People hear lawyer and think $$$. Our goal is to be transparent about what solving your legal problem will cost, when you can expect to make payments and how our fees are calculated.

We accept cheque, cash, credit card (Visa & Mastercard) and debit for payment of retainers and accounts.

Storage of Original Documents
Individual Package – $650 Plus GST
Couple Package – $950 Plus GST

Updating documents costs vary depending on the scope of your changes and number of documents involved. Prices start at $250.
Farm land transfers and rollovers start at $2550 plus GST and disbursements and increase depending on the number of parcels you are transferring, the number of people going on title, and the value of the land.
Any variable costs are quoted before you commit to any work.
No retainers. All fees are billed at the conclusion of the file.

Our Real Estate Services Fees

What you need to know:

Fees are based on the value of the land transaction
Fees are quoted at the start of the file upon request
Compare apples to apples. If you have a quote from another lawyer, make sure it includes disbursements. On real estate files, disbursements and GST can be over a third of the total cost of your final bill. Our quoted fees might seem higher than the other guys, but show the total cost you will face, not a number that is hundreds less than what you will actually pay.

Our Fees Estates & Probate Fees

What you need to know:

Free 1 hour, no obligation consultation with a lawyer
Probate legal fees are based on the value of the estate but we also consider factors that make an estate more or less complex to administer
Affidavits of Surviving Joint Tenants completed for $250 plus GST and disbursements ($75 for one title)
Have a written quote from another law firm? We are happy to match rates in most circumstances.
Legal fees are paid by the estate, and no accounts are due until there is money in the estate to pay them. Executors do not pay out of pocket for our fees.
